I left my half-drunk can of coke at my desk over night. Is it still consumable?!

Question:

I left my half-drunk can of coke at my desk over night. Is it still consumable?

In general is it safe to drink fizzy drinks, like coke, that have been left out (open) and not put in the fridge?

Answers:
Yes, it's consumable. Just pour it in a cup first to make sure it contains no foreign objects.

it is consumable but the taste would be flat... why not finish it in one go...

Sure is. If I can leave a A&W sandwich in the windshield of my car overnight and eat it and still be fine I'm sure you will be fine too, by the way the sandwich tasted better the next day

Personally, if I have me eye off of a beverage for longer than 2 minutes I wont touch it again.

Well, it certainly won't kill you, but it might not taste so good because it has probably gone flat and is warm by now. Give it a shot if you don't feel like wasting, it won't hurt you!!

To be sick or not to be sick... thats the real question.

It won't kill you...but why do it?

smell it if it smells ok then chill it and drink it or throw it

Urgghhh ... warm, flat cola is disgusting - throw it away and get a fresh, chilled and fizzy one!!!
It won't hurt to drink it though, someone I knew used to do this on purpose 'cos they preferred it that way (liked the taste, but not the fizz).

As long as nothing got inside the can (like an insect), it should be fine but it certainly will not taste very good.

look at it this way, what doesnt kill you will only make you stronger.. drink it...

why, are you too cheap to get another fresh one? it will taste nasty as hell.

I did that once and ended up with a mouthful of ants. Beware.

Well, If it was half drunk (smile)it probably never knew you left it.
I would toss it because it's flat now, for sure.

Yeah its still safe!
