those damn olsens

The same way people are fooled into paying for crack, beer and cigarettes.

I am a huge starbucks fan. People know the great taste of it and the atmosphere. Plus it gets addicting.

Because nobody makes coffee like they do.

cuz some people are dumb....!!!!!!

Really good marketing.

I think there is crack in that stuff! Wires me for hours and then I want more.

Advertising and the name that your paying for

I'M NOT SURE ; BUT DEFINITELY NOT BY FORCING US INTO THEIR STORES.

Nice atmosphere, combined with a caffeine buzz, served with a dose of hype.

I actually like Starbucks because they serve a yummy lemon cake. For coffee, I tend to like mom and pop diners. Not that you asked.....

It's very good coffee, but that's not what gets me, it's the exceptionally fine service and the attitude of the servers. I've never been treated better anywhere else. It's the Ritz-Carlton of coffeehouses.

I dont think its their coffee you are buying. I only pay $1.60 Canadian for a Tall coffee at Starbucks.

It's because they're running the small coffee shops out of business, so if you want the coffee shop atmosphere and like to try different coffee flavours, you're stuck with them.

Personally, I think there's crack in them. heh, j/k

But I believe its because of the large variety of coffee and drinks they have...

Branding.

De dónde sos? Me mató tu pregunta del perro pecador...

BECAUSE IT TASTES GOOD! And 4 dollars for some awesome coffee is a lot better than spending 10 times that amount on something like, say...cocaine. Not that I do drugs. Just Starbucks. Maybe you should try it. I can guarantee that you'll fall in love :)

Sheet guts. Lets try. And they did it. WOW. Me i hae stayed with Folgers since i started drinking coffee in the 50's.
