Why is that the Honda Hatchback called EK and Mazda Rx-7 called FD?
Answers:
The first generation of Honda Civic engines from 1973 were named EB I4, E for Engine follow by a letter. Later engine series ED, EF, EG, EJ and it evolved to EK which is part of the Sixth Generation of Civics.
Mazda's first generation RX-7 was SA/FB, FC is the third generation, but I'm not sure what the F stands for.
By the way, this question should be listed under Cars & Transportation not Food & Drink
