Question about coke... (the drink!)?!

Question:

Question about coke... (the drink!)?

If I have coke on a normal day, it makes me feel a bit sick so I tend to avoid it.

BUT if I am hungover or otherwise nauseas, drinking coke makes me feel much better!

Why is this?! It doesnt make any sense.

Answers:
Coke has so much sugar in it
Too much coke leaves you feeling gas ed up
there are three acids in it and carbonated water so that probably why you feel sick
after drinking alcohol you are dehydrated and low in sugar so a cola will help you regain some of that lost energy

water as well will help with the dehydration as all coke does is fill you up.

If you are hungover then you are probably dehydrated as well, I remember my GP telling me to give one of my kids "flat coke" without the gas when they had sickness and diarrhoea as it is good for replacing the sugars and fluids you lose when dehydrated

i know a lot of people who drink flat coke when hungover....
its the fizz whats harmfull in it.

Newgran is right but it has to be the real coke not sugar free.It is fantastic,it also rots teeth, cleans windows and cleans coins.xxxxx

A COKE CONTENTS MANY CALORIES. CHECK YOUR SUGAR LEVEL WITH DOCTOR.

Aside from its high sugar content which I think helps you when you have hung over ( because sugar gives off energy to our body), coke also has caffeine which awakens our body. I think on a normal day your body reacted on its carbonated content specially if you take coke on an empty stomach so you feel sick on it.

Because Coke only tastes nice to sick people...

It's the triple effect of:

(1) water - hydration for your cells and membranes
(2) carbonation - tinkling sensation refreshes your oral cavity and esophagus
(3) sugar - energy for your body and rush for your blood

I really don`t know. everybodys body works differently.
