Can a "can softdrink" have drug inside of it?!

Question:

Can a "can softdrink" have drug inside of it?

OK, last night I went to the club, and I always order bottled water, well this time I decided I wanted a "canned/sealed" coke (coca cola). I cleaned the top, (I always do that) and when I was the one that opened up, I heard the pop and all that.
When I drank a little it tasted weird, I told my friend that it tasted weird, for some other reason we left 5 mins later, and I took the coke home because I wanted to tell my mom, and she did agree with me that it tasted weird, she said it was a little acid or lemon tasted. I did feel a little strange afterward, I usually have insomnia, and I still feel sleepy, and been sleeping all day at home, now I have never done drugs and this has never happen to me before.
But is it possibly to actually insert drug in a canned drink? and how if its sealed? and is there anyway to prevent this if i want to buy something at the club? what are the signs?

its not impossible to drug a canned soda hypodermic needle just under the tab and then seal back with a wax . always beware at clubs especially putting them down for a dance.somebody could walk by and drop it in.

No, other than caffeine which is technically a drug, I don't
see how any drug could have been in a sealed can...

It would have to be put in the can before it was even canned. You'd be able to tell if a can has been tampered with. It could be that it was old, way beyond its expiration date. I don't know if Coke can ferment, since it has sugar in it, I would guess that it can. That could be another possibility.

If it was a Diet Coke, sweetened with aspartame, it may have been stored somewhere where it got overheated. Aspartame can break down into formaldehyde and other chemicals if it gets too hot.

(Aspartame also breaks down in the digestive system, but that shouldn't affect the taste when you drink it.)

There's a long, long list of side effects that have been attributed to aspartame---

---although many haven't been proven in rigorous studies.

it could have been psychological..if it was closed nothings wrong with it
