the scant amount of coffee in the frappucino drinks comes in a powder form. essentially those things are just milkshakes.

But it depends on who is making it, as some coffee shops will instead use a coffee flavoring instead, which is not necessarily containing any coffee. So if you are at a coffee shop, just ask if it contains coffee or espresso.
I know as far as Starbucks frappuccinos, they have some that have coffee and some don't. The strawberries & cream, the double chocolate chip, & the vanilla bean do not have coffee in them.
