Any thoughts on which type of juicer to buy?
I was in the store the other day and wanted to buy a juicer but decided to wait. Today I saw the Jack LaLanne model on TV. I was impressed by the price ($100) but saw that the warranty is only good for 60 days. Now I am really suspicious.

I have seen the commercials too, and i definitely want one. I wouldn't worry about the warranty, 60 days sounds normal to me. I didn't get any warranty with my foreman grill....... but if a big name celebrity puts his name on something, I trust it. They don't want to sell junk and get a bad name.
ask yourself why you want one. is it to lose weight? if it is, I'd seriously consider something else. I have one and used it for about a month then realized it doesn't benefit that much. Now it just collects dust and the reason is because a lot of the nutrients are collected in the pulp which is discarded. Eat the fruit and get all the nutrients, not just the juice.
