What does gatorade even do?!

Question:

What does gatorade even do?

Answers:
according to its label its a thirst quencher that rehydrates, replinishes, and refuels you

when you're dehydrated you need mostly water, which it what gatorade has most of.. also, when you sweat, you lose some sort of something where you are in a deficit of some sugar in your bodily chemicals, which is also put into the gatorade. and it just tastes good & somewhat healthier than some soda.. :)

It is full of salt and electrolytes...the too things the body loses during exhertion. Sugar too.

Gatorade contains certain compounds besides water, such as sugar and salt, that you lose when you sweat. And so Gatorade replenishes what you lose when you work out, keeping you hydrated and alert. Although, it does contain a little bit too much sugar if you ask me... But, when it was first tested in Florida on a professional football team, the team that drank the Gatorade stayed far more active throughout the entire game than the team that didn't drink it. I guess that is suppose to mean that it works.

WASTES YOUR MONEY
WATER IS BETTER ANY WAY

It's a sports drink originally made for athletes, it is now commonly consumed as a snack beverage. The drink is intended to rehydrate and to replenish the carbohydrates (in the form of sugars sucrose and glucose) and electrolytes (sodium and potassium salts) depleted during aerobic exercise, especially in warmer climates.

it suppose to restore electorlytes or something like that and keep you hydrated however it only makes me sick!

Gatorade Being as An Expensive drink helps your body while it burns a whole in your pocket. Gatorade Replenishs Refuels and Restores Nutrients in your body. It helps you body much and gives it the thinks it needs. Power and Thirst Quenching this drink is sure to float it's way to the top!

Gatorade has extra additives in it that help you stay active during vigorous physical activity. When you sweat, your body loses salt and stuff. so, since gatorade has salt, you get back what you lost. thats also why dogs lick you when you are sweaty. they like the salt.
