Brew lemon and peppermint tea bags in 8-ounces boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and add 24 ounces of cold water. Pour over ice; add lemon and lime juice and stir. Serve. Serves: 4. (Prep and Cooking Time: 10 minutes)



LEMON MINT TEA

2 c. water
6 tea bags
3 lemons
Mint leaves
2 lg. cans unsweetened pineapple juice
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond
4 c. water
1 c. sugar

Boil 2 cups water, add tea bags, lemons, mint leaves. Let stand 20 minutes. Add pineapple juice, vanilla, almond, 1 cup sugar, 4 cups water. Large bowl.



SPICED LEMON TEA

3 c. boiling water
6 tea bags
3 sticks cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cold water
Juice of 3 lemons (about 1/2 c.)
Ice cubes

Pour boiling water over tea bags, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg; steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and cinnamon sticks. Stir in sugar, cold water and lemon juice; chill. Makes about 5 1/3 cups.

1 gallon iced tea
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

SNOW:
In a medium bowl, mix gelatin with sugar and salt. Add boiling water and stir until gelatin as completely dissolved. Mix in tea, lemon juice and rind. Chill, stir occasionally until thickened and mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon. Add egg whites to thickened gelatin. Beat at high speed until mixture begins to hold its shape, about 10 minutes. If kitchen is very warm, beat over ice water. Turn into a 6-cup crystal bowl. Chill until firm.

STRAWBERRY SAUCE:
In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar and jelly; bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch with cold water. Add to strawberries and cook, stirring constantly until clear. Chill, serve over snow. Pair this delectable dessert with a pitcher of iced tea, garnished with a lemon slice or sprig of hot tea.

Preparation:

Bring the water to a boil in a large pot, and remove from the heat. Immediately whisk in the sugar and lime juice until all the sugar is dissolved. Add the tea and the cranberry juice. Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes, strain, and cool. Stir again to make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved, and place in a pitcher. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Ingredients:

6 cups of room-temperature fresh water
For sweetened tea, add sugar to taste
Fresh lemon juice to taste

Preparation:

Add tea leaves to water in a teapot or covered pitcher and set out in the morning sun. Bring the tea indoors later in the afternoon before sunset. Strain the tea, chill and add a dash of sugar and fresh lemon juice if desired.


LONG BEACH ICED TEA:::

Ice
1 shot vodka
1 shot white rum
1 shot gin
0.5 shot triple sec
30ml grapefruit juice
Sweetbird Wildberry smoothie
Three-quarter fill glass with ice, add the shot and the grapefruit juice. Top with smoothie, and blend until nice and smooth.

Method: Place mint leaves in a jug. Pour on hot water.

Infuse with teabag. Sweeten to taste. Cool and strain.
