Is it possible to drink too much green tea?!

Question:

Is it possible to drink too much green tea?

I sit in my office and drink green tea all day long. Is that bad?

Answers:
If you get "water intoxication" that could be bad. All that caffeine isn't great either. Green tea usually has more than black.

yep. i did. i used to drink about 3-4 cups a day, but the caffeine in it started to dehydrate me and zapped my energy bc it was taking my metabolism up and down alot. i dont drink any caffeine drinks other than that so my body wasnt very tolerant of the excess caffeine i suddenly started to drink. just be careful. if u feel fine after a few weeks then it might not affect u the way it did me.

I don't think so ,but you will stuffed (hehehe) ,but don't do that EVERYDAY ,okay ? ,if you're doing that everyday you will get a serious ill for sure ! and that ain't funny like being stuffed

Yea but it would take a lot

The antioxidants are beneficial, but too much caffeine can have adverse effects, like caffeine addiction.
Make sure you also drink a lot of water and you should be fine.

there was one story about a Native American who also sat around drinking tea all day.

The found him dead in his own Tee-Pee (ararararararar).

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

If you can die from drinking too much water, I`m sure you can drink too much green tea. If it really works by flushing the system, you could actually dehydrate yourself. Weird huh ?

i would alternate between drinking the tea and water also, so you are giving your body a pick me up with the water. water helps keep your body hydrated and feeling good.

Green tea has more caffeine that most soft drinks. You can Overload on the caffeine.

Its possible to drink too much of anything. Recently a woman died trying to win tickets to some event sponsored by a radio station. Too much of almost anything can kill ya

are you neglecting your work is it that much? As long as you go to "pee" when the urge strikes there should be no problem-if you don't that is where trouble begins and it is quick.
When you get the shakes from the caffeine you'll know when you've met your limit also the inside of your mouth usually dries out. Green tea has less caffeine than anything except white tea. It's good for your teeth also- cuts down on plaque.

If you drink 4-5 cups a day, then it's probably okay.
Don't drink too much of the bottled ready-to-drink or sweetened green teas - they contain too much additives or sweeteners.

I suggest you drink more water, minus the tea.
