Water all the way. Gatorade has too much sodium for me. I don't really like it that much, and water is better for you most of the time.

It depends of the purpose you need each for. Gatorade is good if you are dehydrated. The gatorade water is NOT good. Do not get that. Gatorade has high pottasium and is a little healthier for you than water. Except the fact of the sugars. Water is good too, but Gatorade helps you stay active and not get dehydrated. I would say Gatorade is better than water... If you need it. If you don't go with water. Water will help in dehydration, but not as powerfully and quick. So there's your anawer.

Gatorade helps with hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. It keeps you hydrated better than water in that situation, and also restores vital sugars to your blood.

It has saved me on several occasions.

Water for dehydration but Gatorade for more energy!!

Water, it's more natural and doesn't have high amounts of sugar.

water is way better for your amune system. Since your body is over seventy five percent water, you owe it to yourself to drink some water. Gatorade may taste better but studdies show when exersizing and drinking gatorade, your body does not respond as well because it's looking for real liquids for it. Don't choose what tastes better, because that is what can kill your amune system and not to creep you out, but water can prevent you from dying earlier then expected. Be healthy, drink water

if you're doing a high intensity workout, outside in the heat, or anything else that really wears you out, i'd go with the gatorade. if you're just thirsty, i'd stick with water.

To help replace lost electrolytes the best answer is to drink diluted Gatorade. Where it is half water and half Gatorade. Full Gatorade has too much salt and sugar and will over-replace your electrolytes without getting you the H2O you need, and water has no electrolytes.
