Is Monster energy lo carb bad for you?!

Question:

Is Monster energy lo carb bad for you?

I am 13 and I have to wake up at 5:30 am everyday for school.

Answers:
Monster Lo-Carb is my favorite energy drink!

I totally get having to be up super early every morning, and needing that "boost" to get ya' going, but I dont suggest an energy drink every morning, becasue after a while, it may start to have negative effects.

myabe try coffee in the mornings too, and replace the monster with a cup of coffee 2 days a week. it still has caffeine, but coffee wont have the other chemicals that can start tearing up yout body when you drink a ton!

Also, I've read studies that say an apple and ice water in the morning will stimulate the body better than coffee, so maybe give that a try & see if it works for you. I tried it and agree that it helped, but I still love my coffee too!!!

anyway, I dont think monster will be destructive, but drinking one every morning 5 days a week is probably a bit unwise. Mix it up a bit between monster lo carb, coffee and a hearty breakfast. that way your body has more time to process everything & balance out without having negative consequences!

Be safe, be healthy, be happy!
Good luck with the early mornings! They're rough, I hear ya!

I'm not sure, but it sure sounds bad!

Once your body clock gets used to the early morning starts (and once you get used to the possibility of going to bed a little earlier!) you will find you have no need for a 'pick-me-up'.

Trust me, I used to have to get up at 5am, wake up my 1 year old, get us both dressed, lunches made for us both, and off for a 5:45am train ride, which began the hour and a half of public transport I had to take, followed by a full day at uni, followed by the hour and a half of public transport again! It was hell to start with, but after a few weeks I was waking up at 5am, fresh as a button, on the weekends!
