Why are they different?!

Question:

Why are they different?

I've noticed that if you heat up chocolate milk it comes out normal but if you make cocoa cold it gets all lumpy. Aside from the obvious, what's the difference?

Answers:
When Chocolate milk is made it is run through a filter at a very high speed, this keeps it from separating. When you make cocoa the powder is suspended in the milk instead of dissolved in it.

Cocoa is not meant to be cold, that's why it's lumpy. Cocoa
is meant to be hot. Try it, then you will see the difference.
