Question:

Why many people describe themselves as tea or coffee drinker?

I myself drink both. How do you describe yourself? Why? Isn't it interesting?

For people who call themselves as a “tea drinker” (don’t drink coffee), do you think they really just drink tea only or they do that because of their consciousness of their image (i.e. healthy, upscale, educated, intelligent, etc)? How do you think?

i prefer tea. i'll drink coffee on occasion, but tea just has so much more potential, tastes so much better (and by tea i mean good loose tea, not that lipton garbage). tea also has a much more subtle flavor, and isn't as overpowering, can be much more easily infused with a great deal more different flavors, can be made from many different sources (from herbs to actual tea leaves), and also has health benefits that coffee doesn't (anti-oxidants, etc).

I drink both too. I like tea in the morning and coffee when I need to study. Coffee is more effective in keeping me awake. Caffeine <3

I drink coffee when I am eating breakfast
I drink tea for lunch and dinner.I will drink coffee when I am on this machine.

I am a Moderate coffee drinker: 3 cups per day .

I have professed being a tea drinker for many years now, even when it wasn't cool or upscale or foofiedoof. I just plain hate the taste of coffee. Tea on the other hand is great and I'm thirsty for some Earl Grey right now. c ya

Tea drinking definitely sounds snobby. however a glass of sweet tea for dinner is almost expected "down here". But with the wave of starbucks and mom/pop coffee shops popping up everywhere, it is becoming so trendy to "go have coffee"; especially, a coffee with a 6 word title. i myself love coffee and drink it daily and hopefully i always will be able to.

I enjoy coffee everyday, but also like Iced tea..I guess i would characterize myself as both, but why label?
