Is drinking tea good for health, tea that is made from normal tea leaves ?

Answers:
Tea is full of anti-oxidants so it is good for u. Add some milk for protein and a little sugar to sweeten it. Yum!

i don't think there's still any good thing to eat and drink since everything has been done through so many chemical processed....
nothing's better than purified mineral water

it has lots of anti-oxidents (things that help reduce the risk of getting cancer) however there is alot of caffiene in it and it also stains the teeth

I understand that Green Tea (fresh leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant, steamed to produce green tea) does provide health benefits.

"Green tea and green tea extracts, such as its component EGCG, have been used to prevent and treat a variety of cancers, including breast, stomach, and skin cancers.
Green tea and green tea extracts have also been used for improving mental alertness, aiding in weight loss, lowering cholesterol levels, and protecting skin from sun damage."

But like everything taken in excess, green tea can also cause bad side effects.

Of course. Not just green tea, but plain ol' regular tea has antioxidants, too. Being from Asia, where people have been drinking different types of teas for ages, I never understood all the crazy health claims people are making about green tea today, as if other teas are bad. But yeah, there are many blends of tea from different parts of the world out there, try them and savor them.

If you're conscious about your weight, then take the tea with no milk and sugar. This is also a great way to savor the flavor of tea. Otherwise, a little sugar and milk is fine. But moderation is key--tea is caffeinated, so enjoy the cup or two per day, just don't go overboard!

You know the English are the first really to bring to tea to this great land of ours. So that being the case you may want to check out: http://www.tea.co.uk/ and go straight to the source. They have a section labeled tea & health.

black tea is an excellent antioxidant, and other standard herb teas (ie celestial seasonings- you don't need to buy the overpriced fancy ones) bring other herbal remedies, but black works just as well.

yes........

I prefer green tea it has more health benefit. Details available at http://www.teaenjoy.com/

Of course it is good. Keep drinking.
