How many ounces is this bottle?!

Question:

How many ounces is this bottle?

I try and get between 40-48oz of water in me, a day. I ususally drink water our of the poland spring bottles that come in the 24 pack, but they way they show the ounces on each individual bottle is weird.

the only thing the bottles say is ".5L (1 PT, 0.9 FL OZ)"

SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, it can only hold less than one ounce of water?!

I think about 3 of these a day. And no, I cant change brands, because I save empty water bottles and fill them up with those Brita pitchers.

SO HELP!!!!

Answers:
There are 8 ounces in a cup and 2 cups in a pint, so that makes for 16 ounces of water in a pint.

However, I think what the label means is that the bottle has 1 pint and 0.9 ounces of water, which makes for 16.9 ounces. Why they don't just say 16.9 ounces, who knows.

1 pint is 16 oz

so the bottle has 16.9 oz in it

one pint plus a little less than one fluid ounce

don't be so cheap! Go buy new water bottles! For the 10 best answer points, I will send you the $3 to buy them!

The L by the 5 stands for Liter. 1 Liter = 33.8 ounces. So, you've got 33.8/2 = 16.9 ounces in that bottle.

In parenthesis, you've got an equivelant "US" conversion of 1 Pint, .9 OZ, which, again, is roughly 16.9 oz (a Pint is 16 ounces), or .5 Liters.

go out and buy a 5 gallon water dispenser at the local hardware store....they are awsome and will not take up room in the frig....they give hot and cold water...btw 1/2 liter is 16.9 oz

Are you sure you are reading the label correctly.

There are supposed to be 16 oz per pint, not 0.9.

0.5L = 16.9 Fl OZ

So 3 of these would be about right!

The label is reading ".5Liter (1pt,0.9 Fl. Oz.)=
1pt.=2cups=16 oz + 0.9 fl. oz which is a little over 1/2 oz= 15 cc so there is enough for the sides of the bottle, accidental spillage, etc. Yeah, I save the bottles & refill them also. Need to drink eight glasses (8oz.) = 64 oz. or a 1/2 galon of water NOT including the milk cofee, tea, or juices you normally drink for your body to function at it's peak performance. Especially here in the desert.

1 PT means "1 pint", which is equal to 16 ounces

so total, your bottle holds 16.9 ounces

have a spectacular Friday!!!

=o)

I think that 1pint is 16ounces so the amount of water would be 16.9 ounces.

16.9 oz total.1-pint =16 oz,then add 0.9====16.9 oz.You have more than you need..you are drinkinking 50.70 oz just in water..By the way, thanks for saving the bottles and recycling it is good for mother Earth..

if you drink three you are getting the amount you want. each bottle has 16.9 ounces.

no no no hunny...it is saying that it is one pint AND . 9 fl ounces

becuz one pint is 16 oz, thats 16.9 oz
