Once the kettle has boiled about 30 seconds.
When its my turn five minutes. when its my wife's 5 hours.
It takes me about 20-30 mins. I like to let it soak for a while.
5 minutes, sometimes a bit longer. Boil kettle, put t-bag in cup. Have a wonder around. Pour water into cup, have another wonder around, drain t-bag after a couple of minutes, add sugar, then add milk to required strength. sometimes i get distracted and it has been know to take 20mins !!! Don't rush a good cup of tea !!!
Hello
Usually it takes about 3 to 7 minutes.
Oooh, now you're asking!
OK, let's take into account boiling the water - letting the tea BREW - even if your using a tea bag you've got to leave it in a while - squeeze it against the side of the cup - HATE weak tea!
Then you've got the milk! Sugar. Remember to take the tea bag out - ooh, made THAT mistake before!
Hmmm.
5 minutes max. No. That's ridiculous. 3 - 4 minutes.
MZ_Kekie - 30 minutes!!!? Christ, bet you don't the tea round often. You let it brew - don't wait for the tea bag to dissolve!
about 5 min.
5 no more
about 3 mins
about 5 mins,if waiting for the kettle to boil.
about 2 minutes. I use less water
I do not make a cup of tea, I make a pitcher of tea and I make it while I am cooking the meal. I don't know how long it takes.
Now a cup of coffee.....that is a different matter.
its usually takes 2-5 m. if the person is lazy it takes 7-8 m.
Hours - because I always get side-tracked. The door bell rings, the phone goes, I suddenly remember I simply MUST check my e-mail that very second, the dog wants to go into the garden to do his business, etc etc.
For most, it's a case of sit down in the bath and the phone goes. For me, it's put the kettle on for a nice cuppa and the world implodes - every bloody time!
When I used to make them for my mum, it would take me less than 5.
The proper amount of time to steep a teabag is 4 minutes. This amount of time will give your tea full flavor, without making a bitter cup of tea or overextracting the tea.
only about 5 min.
tip:while the water boils put the tea and sugar in the cup to win time
It depends what kind of tea it is. Green is not supossed to get that hot so you need to do in on the stove dont let it get above 180 degrees so it takes longer and black tea you can get how ever hot you want so
About 15-20 minutes to make it, depending on how fast the water comes to a boil. Some people need to learn that good things sometimes take time. The ritual of making it is part of what's relaxing about having a cup of tea.
I KNOW the answer to this!!! I drink tea ALL the time and am a pro. You add one tea bag to a cup of steeping water, not BOILING water, or place it in a closed container and put it in the sun, for sun tea. For hot tea, place the tea bag in the water for 3-5 minutes and let it sit. No longer.
I takes as long as it takes for the water to boil.
it depends on how long it takes for your water to boil and what type of tea you are making. Of course boiling water takes the most time, but steeping black teas and herbal teas (over 6 minutes steep time) takes more time than white and green teas.
Once the kettle has boiled, about 1 min.
3 minutes maybe but i dont like....put sugar and milk or cream in it thats nassstyy
plain green tea is like...heaven
Roughly about 3 - 5 minutes
i would say about 45 seconds longer than it takes the kettle to boil. unless i've run out of milk and have to go to the corner shop, in which case about 4 mins and 45 seconds.
about 30seconds. My Tassimo is really good.
If Im at home seconds after the kettle has boiled, at work about 45 mins!!
