why do you love starbucks? real reasons, what makes it better then any other coffee house?

I don't. Their coffee tastes no better than others, and the extras are not exactly healthy.
i ask myself that same question. i just went and visited my father and he loves starbucks, he goes there everyday and they know him by name and know his order. But i dont like anything there, they dont even have bagles. i dont know why everyone loves it so much
I have to say I do not find anything special about the coffee at starbucks. They do make a nice fruit drink or two. However they are way overpriced.
To be honest, nothing. It's all hype. I only began going to starbucks since it was popular. It was the cream cheese brownie that kept me there. I live in Hawaii and out here we have a sick Cream Cheese brownie that starbucks makes. I went to Las Vegas and LA once and asked for it but they don't make them there. However it could have been because of the season since I was there in November. But that's the only reason I keep coming back.

and they alwas get my order and they have a drive thru and they have the most variety in drinks
starbucks has enjoyable drinks for everyone even the kids. they also have a variety of drinks from frappucinos to iced latte. I would recommend the caramel macchiato for coffee lovers =]

Worst coffee shop
I love that they are almost everywhere, so I know if I'm in another city or state, I can get something I like without wondering what I'm getting... its the same everywhere.
Other than that, I really prefer to stick with local independently owned coffee shops. The coffee is just as great, sometimes better, and the people are always so happy to see you because you're a local, a regular & alot of times, they know you... your neighbor, the girl from your Psych lecture, the guy who you went to high school with...whatever, they're people you know, and they know you, and are excited to see you.
At starbucks, they're sweet & friendly, but you're just a customer, not a classmate or a childhood friend like at the local shops. I love that feeling, walking into my favorite shop & them knowing what I want before I order... it's a great feeling! That beats out Starbucks anyday!

I love starbucks because there are good chances of finding one in every town, and you know you are going to get the same drink every time. The beans don't change, the flavors don't change, and the customer service for the most part doesn't change.
It's nice when you do a lot of travel to not have to worry about if what you pay $5 is any good!
Terrible terrible coffee. Once you add flavours, it's not coffee anymore, is it ? It's only the extra caffeine they secretly put in that keeps people coming back.
The staff in our Starbucks are great. I love that they have new drinks all the time and a caramel or orange mocha frap is a dreamy thing.
I much prefer an independent coffee shop which is 30 mins away though. I choose that over Starbucks whenever I'm around there. It's not cheaper but the coffee's better, the carrot cake is to die for and I'd rather give the money to a family run business.
