never!!! water is always good!

8 glasses of water is the recommended daily amount. You have to drink a lot more water for it to be dangerous to your health.

he is wrong. u need 8 glass of water a day and depend on the activities u do and the amount of body water loss.

yes it is TOO MUCH

i don't know know how this idea came up but what we really need is to COMPENSATE the amount of water that we lose each day during the activities.

what i mean is that if you're doing sports and sweating that much, than maybe more than 8 glasses will be fine

but if you're just sitting at home without any perspiring, than 8 cups is too much.

let your brain and tongue (and mouth) decide for you how much water you need

Though you can actually drink to much water the average you should drink is around a 8 glasses up to a gallon a day, depending on your height/weight.

Drinking water is good for your body. Now, I just saw Dr. Oz on Oprah saying that your body will tell you how much you need; if you can read through your pee, you are getting enough water.

its not true.if you want to know if we drink to much water our skin will be soft and beauty.....even drink to much water its not give any infect and problem.

Drinking too much water can lead to a condition known as water intoxication and to a related problem resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body, hyponatremia.

It's Not How Much You Drink, It's How Fast You Drink It!

The kidneys of a healthy adult can process fifteen liters of water a day! You are unlikely to suffer from water intoxication, even if you drink a lot of water, as long as you drink over time as opposed to intaking an enormous volume at one time. As a general guideline, most adults need about three quarts of fluid each day. Much of that water comes from food, so 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is a common recommended intake. You may need more water if the weather is very warm or very dry, if you are exercising, or if you are taking certain medications. The bottom line is this: it's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition.

Your co-worker (no offence) must be flipping mad!! Drinking lots of water is never bad. Drink as much as you like!

You can overdose on water, but you would have to drink a heck of a lot. It would dilute certain salts and chemicals in the brain, but three bottles I would say is not too much. I frequently drink more than that.

However, I am concerned that if you are regularly drinking this amount and more, you need to pee a lot or you find yourself really tired, your eyesight is blurred, and you generally feel unwell and losing weight without trying, you should be checked out for diabetes.

This can gradually come on over time, at any age and may be Type I - where your body is producing no insulin with which to process natural or other sugars in your blood, or Type II where the body produces some insulin, but either not sufficient to deal with blood sugars or of poor quality. If left untreated, it could cause blindness, heart problems, stroke, healing problems to name but a few. I do not wish to seem alarmist, being diabetic does not necessarily mean insulin injections, it could be treated with tablets and diet, or diet and exercises or any combination. But, if you have not recently been tested, you should make an appointment with your doctor.

Good luck, and keep on drinking water, it is good for you!

Yes if you are young and dynamic,, you need abt 6 to 8 water bottles per day,,do you know that it flushes out the unwanted stuff out your body??????????/ more you drink water the more you are healthy...cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!11...

no

It's not actually 8 glasses of water - it's the EQUIVILANT of 8 glasses of water, because we get a lot of water from the foods we eat, too.

But, really, just go by how thirsty you are. If you feel you need 8 glasses, then drink 8 glasses. If not, then don't. Drink more if you're sweating a lot, and drink less when you're sitting still. That's about it.

BTW - you CAN drink too much water, but it would have to be a very large amount, in a really small amount of time, so don't worry about it if you're just drinking normally.

8 glasses of water a day - good for you, wish I could drink that many

Yeah we are in a drought.

You can drink water as much as you want it depends on the activates you do and the weather of the place you are in, water is good for you health your skin…etc

never!! congrats for being healthy and choosing water instead of a soft drink! If it was like 3 galllons THEN you might want to hold back a bit but 3 bottles thats absolutly fine!

No , it's not too much
8 glasses a day is what we're supposed to drink.
Of course you need to space them out one all the hours you're awake. Water helps to keep our kidneys, liver and intestines clean, which keeps us healther.

Here's an excerpt from an article from Mayo Clinic on CNN Health:

A couple of approaches attempt to approximate water needs for the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate.

* Replacement approach. The average urine output for adults is 1.5 liters a day. You lose close to an additional liter of water a day through breathing, sweating and bowel movements. Food usually accounts for 20 percent of your total fluid intake, so if you consume 2 liters of water or other beverages a day (a little more than 8 cups) along with your normal diet, you will typically replace the lost fluids.
* Dietary recommendations. The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3.0 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

No, what you have drink is normal,,

No. Thre recommended amount is 8 8oz glasses. However if you job makes you sweat you need to drink more to keep from getting dehydrated. My question is are you always thirsty. if so maybe go to a doctor for a diabetes test. One symptom is thirst another constant urination. Not the normal cycle but more often with less to get rid of.

it's minimum and water has no over dosage...infact it is the natural anti aging and cleanser....cleanse your internal and external.....replenish you too and keep away from dehydrating

No it is NOT too much at all. Most people don't drink nearly enough water.
