How long can soda in a can last ?!

Question:

How long can soda in a can last ?

Answers:
If you mean the carbonation, that lasts a couple hours before it's flat. Put something over it or seal it if you don't want the bubbles to escape.

If you mean in general, check the expiration date on the bottom. After that date, it just doesn't taste right.

Easily 2 years.

the carbonation in an unopened can can last years but the taste may go bad.

when i moved to Denver it amazed me that i could leave an open can of soda on the table for a full 24 hours and it would still have it's fizz. in Atlanta it loses it's fizz in about 2 hours or less.

Usually the taste starts going after 3 months. But you can drink it for approx 24 months if you can stomach the taste.

Well, our family was doing some spring cleaning in the motorhome & found some pepsi that had been in there since last 4th of July, when we were camping. We stuck it in the fridge & we have been drinking it. Tastes fine & nobody got sick...

If it is diet usually a six month window. The artificial sweetner goes bad. Regular a year or so.
