How do beverage companies take the acid out of low-acid orange juice?


Answers:
With the addition of a calcium source such as a calcium citrate source to the orange juice.

They won't take the acid out, I guess they put something in to neutralize the acid. Some base.

It's not hard. They probably run it through something like calcium, which would make the acid "stick" to the calcium, making it less acidic.
