Red Bull = expensive, and not that good. Monster is sugary, but if you like super-sweet stuff I highly recommend it. Full Throttle is the choice otherwise; it tastes like Sprite, basically.
I recommend the flavors that include juice-- Rockstar Juiced (70% juice), or Monster M-80 (80%). They're really good, and healthy-ish.
Oh, and if you drink a lot, Walmart sells four-packs which will save you 25-50 cents per can. Buying them online doesn't save you any money, they're the exact same price.
I don't drink them, but my boyfriend drinks Monster & that gives him bad, stinky breath! I don't know if the other ones do the same, but I wouldn't suggest Monster.
I prefer Red Bull. But that is because I used to drink it with vodka, and it gives you a fast lift before going clubbing.
Having got used to the taste, I have dropped the vodka now and still drink the Red Bull. I have not heard of the others over here.

My fav is monster, but my 2nd fav is Rockstar. my 3rd fav is Max Velocity.
Red Bull is too carbonated for me to drink all the time. I like how sweet Monster is, and that Rockstar is very carbonated, but not as much as REd bull.

They all give me headaches - if I have to choose, I go with Full Throttle Blue Demon
Best deals are the case of 24 from Costco or Sam's Club - the energy drink market is the fastest growing beverage market segment in the US and the 3 brands you mentioned are all in the top 10, there's really no reason or incentive for the makers (Hansen's, Red Bull, and Coca-Cola) to give discount or coupons.
Btw, Hansen's is coming out with Java Monster - coffee-flavored energy drink - Com'on Coke - what happened to your beverage innovation!!!
Personally I do not really like any energy drink. Too much caffiene too much sugar. It is an artificial high that you can achieve through proper nutrition and rest. But I think if it ok for you then that is fine. As far as which is better....like everything in life that should be your choice. Which do you like and then that is the best.

Dude monster is the shzznit. its the best energy drink i have ever had plus there is a lot more flavors, Regular, Low-Carb, Chaos, Assult, and now M-80,and the new coffee ones.

Monster is the best. Bigger than red bull. more variety than both!
Full throttle doesn't have the vitamins you will get in the others. I like Rockstar, which has many varieties such as their diet which tastes good and only 20 cal, their juiced which includes guava now, and more. Monster has a great selection also. If you want something different there is XS which has a cran-grape, citrus, and rootbeer. Let me know if your interested in that one and I'll get you more info.
