Answers:
Hey there. I have been making a ton of iced tea already this season. I use a pot on the stove, sticking the tea bags in as I turn on the heat. I let it come to a boil stirring it a couple more times. Then I leave the tea bags in for another five minutes after I turn the heat back off. I will let it cool off for about another ten minutes, then I will add the tea to a pitcher of ice (with sugar already added)...that way when I pour it over the ice it won't completely melt right away and the sugar and can mix well with the tea. My husband keeps drinking it all as fast as he can. It's crazy!

lol you make tea like your makeing hot tea but make alot of it and wait tell it cools to drink it but it out side or in the fridge : ) (add lemons for taste) : )

make the tea
while it is hot add Sugar stir it til dissolves
pour over ice
there u go

The easiest way to make ice tea is to boil water in a teapot.Take a coffee cup and put 8 tea bags in it.Pour the water over the bags and let it seep about 5 minutes or so.Pour the liquid into a heatproof pitcher, then add some sugar and the rest of the hot water.Fill with ice and refrigerate till icy cold.Or put it in the freezer till it`s chilled, but be carefull not to leave it in there too long. Also try using herbal tea for a yummy treat.

What I do, Is boil the tea bags in a little bit of water over the stove, then Add the Sugar so the sugar melts in the water and turn off the stove, then squeeze the excess tea juice out of the tea bags when its not Hot of course, transfer to pitcher then add the full amount of water. Hope this Helps!

I don't drink sweetened tea, but I'm pretty sure that people sweeten it after the tea is made. You might add the sweetener while the tea is still hot in order to have it dissolve more easily.

For a different taste, my Uncle always used to sweeten his tea with maple syrup.

Sorry, my stomach does upset flutters whenever I think of sweetening tea.

you dont have to do any of that all you have do is get a jug and put some of the tea bags in it put sugar if you taste it and think it needs sugar there you have homemade icetea

i boil water, take it off the heat and add the tea bags; let it stew for 10-15 min. add your sugar, i use 1 cup for 1 gallon, to your pitcher and pour the tea in. stir it up so the sugar melts then add water untill you reach 1 gallon. if you put it the fridge it will get sweeter by the day. enjoy!

1. Boil a Gallon of water
2. Add 7 tea bags
3. Simmer for 7 min
4. Remove bags, put tea in what your serving it in
5. Add Sugar until its almost too sweet
6. Add ice and flavoring(mint, lemon, etc...)
7. Taste it, add more sugar or ice which ever is needed
8.Enjoy

Brew your tea let it cool and then add the rest. The artificial sweetener like splenda is better than regular sugar because it disolves quicker.

put the tea bags in a pan of water bring to a boil. when it reaches a rolling boil turn it off and remove tea bags. Put sugar in pitcher and pour hot tea over sugar. Stir well ( this is similar to making a simple syrup) once all the sugar is dissolved fill the pitcher with cold water and ice

depending on the tea use 2-3 bags for a gallon and use 11/2 to 2 cups of sugar

Hi Brian C,

Make sun tea get a gallon glass jug with lid(keeps out insects) ( I use a jar that had pickles in it, wash of course) put in 4 to 6 tea bags & set in the sun all day then, refrigerate & or add ice then when you want hot tea just use a cup & nuke (microwave) you can add mint leaves, lemon, sugar or honey. Enjoy & have a good day. :0)
