Question 'bout diet coke...?!

Question:

Question 'bout diet coke...?

i heard that diet coke has more sugar than regular coke..its it true?

Answers:
i think diet coke has a sweetener but it is not sugar so i dont think that there is any different with normal coke and diet coke

I don't know, but Diet coke is bad for you because of the fake sugar, it supposedly changes the color of your brain, and you shouldn't be drinking diet coke, because soda doesn't make people fat, it's the pizza that they got with the soda usually. so yeah.......i'm not saying you are heavy set, i'm just saying, it's not worth it to drink "Diet" coke, it's a Coke it's not Loaded with Fat.

you heard wrong it has double caffeine,nd 3 more things on the back.

I believe so. Diet coke could be formed with more sugar but less on something that could make it a diet coke. Check the bottle for the contents.

False.

You can find diet coke sweetened with a simple protein (aspartame) and cyclamates and organochlorides (sucralose, acesulfame potassium). But no sugar.

(BTW, as a point of curiosity and sidebar, it might interest you that, according to the Economist, it takes 2.72 litres of water to make a litre of Coke or Diet Coke. Enjoy!

the ingredients are ; carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame (sugar substitute), phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate(to protect taste), natural flavors, citric acid, caffeine there is also 40 mg of sodium

yea there sodium no sugar artificial coloring and things. I work fast food so i always use diet pepsi as my flavored carbonated water because it has no sugar then mix it with different sodas that do have sugar it's quite fun. good combination diet pepsi and a hint of Mountain dew Baja Blast it gives it a pretty good tast with not too much of that nasty sugar.

My class did this experiment with diet and regular coke. We got a tank filled with water and drop a can of diet and regular coke at the same time and guess what happen. The diet floated=less sugar. Try it. IT was fun!!

Hi bublez. The answer is probably no unless you count natural sugars from any fruit or veg extract, but it does contain artificial sweeteners called Aspartame and Aceulfame k. It also containes Caramel E150d. which might make you think that it contains sugar because "true" caramel is melted sugar, but the caramel \E150d is a chemical. I hope this helps you. Best wishes Rab

I can tell you it has no sugar and neither does Zero. A friend of mine is a diabetic and he drinks both, and neither elevate his blood sugar levels.
They use artificial sweeteners #950 + #951, whatever they are, in both.

I have just read that off a bottle.

Why dont u look at the ingredients? The ingredients are : carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame (sugar substitute), phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate(to protect taste), natural flavors, citric acid, caffeine there is also 40 mg of sodium

They might be referring to the fact that it has aspartame in Diet Coke instead of real sugar. While Aspartame does have a similar amount of calories as regular sugar, it is 200 times sweeter, so the amount put into Diet Coke is negligible.

that is false it helps you
