Answers:
I have a Starbucks, and it's ok. Not as good as the old coffee machine on the corner though.

nescafe instant and a spoon

Hi, I think Bosch TKA 8 SL1 Solitaire
For me the best hot beverages machines I found in the domestic kitchen appliances stores. Low consumption of electric and compact design are some feature which makes this machine lovely. Ease of use, ok?

i have a cuisinart 12-cup programmeable brew center- in stainless steel (i believe it's the vintage collection)

it is AWESOME! my older brother, who is a notorious consumer reports nerd, bought it for me for xmas and i have really enjoyed it.

-gold-tone permanent filter
-setting for if you want to make 2-4 cups vs. a whole pot so brewing is even
- it beeps when your coffee is done brewing
- ability to set your coffee to brew automatically
- drip-control (i forget what it's called, but it knows not to release coffee unless the carafe is there...so if you want to sneak a cup there's no mess)

it's a seriously good piece of equipment. my only complaint is that it's a bit tall (my kitchen is tiny and i can't open the coffee maker to add water if it's under the cupboard but no biggie).

(the price may seem high, but i feel like every time i go to a department store it's on sale by quite a bit. plus, it's worth the money)

I have the Tassimo, Senseo and Phillips Dolce Gusto, which are more user friendly machines. Out of all of them, the Dolce gusto is very easy to use, easy to clean, makes great coffee which errs more on the side of coffee shop coffee. Senseo coffee is meh, and lacks variety, the water also doesnt boil and is lukewarm by the time you drink it. tassimo is also meh - depends if you like kenco coffee, but it can be quite bland. If you prefer good strong clean coffee as opposed to lattes and cappucinos maybe you should get something like a Gaggia.

Tassimo

im only saying this because we have one

Starbucks, just kidding.

I have a Jura impressa X7 I bought it from a local cafe that was shutting down due to bankruptcy or something.

I got it for £200, later found out that it is worth a couple of grand. Anyway its the best coffee machine ever.

I also got a whole pile of massive mugs. God bless bankruptcy.

I have a gaggia cubic espresso maker.

It is small, easily cleaned and simple to use.
For those reasons i think it is the best for me. I hate cleaning things and i dont have a huge kitchen.

There is a milk steamer on the side, which my hubby tops up his espresso with, but i usually top up mine with hot water. Just as easy as using a drip percolator.

i have to agree with slice, gaggia makes solid machines. have had our stainless steel model for 8 years now and it has been producing 2-4 cups a day solid with no trouble. leave it to the italians to know how to make a decent coffee maker...

For THE best drip coffee machine - get a Technivorm, available on their website. They're hand made and expensive, but they set the standard for drip coffee makers according to the Specialty Coffee Association of America.
Once you have quality coffee and quality water its all about the brew temperature.
