Will an opened 2 liter bottle of pop left out at room temp lose fizz faster?!

Question:

Will an opened 2 liter bottle of pop left out at room temp lose fizz faster?

If after opening a 2 liter of pop and leaving it out at room temp lose fizz faster than if you would put it in the refridgerator? (the seal would be broken but you would put the lid on again)

Answers:
Yes, I know I always leave my Pepsi out because I don't like it when it's cold and by the next day the fizz is gone and of course by the second day after opening it, it loses it taste.

i think they would lose fizz at the same time. Try it out!

shake it up fizz will disapear.

I'm pretty sure it loses fizz faster at room temperature, because the molecules are moving faster at the higher temp, and releasing gas bubbles more. Besides, warm pop equals ick.

As long as you replace the cap and tighten it will last. It depends upon how much liquid remains in the bottle.

yes

The fizz would evaporate at room temperature.

Yes it does lose carbonation quicker when left out. I try to chill it first use what I need and back to the fridge. Avoid shaking it and do not open more often than needed.

i′d say it loses fizz at same rate in or out.

It will be about the same.
