Helthier, Soda, or Iced Tea?!

Question:

Helthier, Soda, or Iced Tea?

I was just wondering, i used to drink soda, but now i drink mainly iced tea. Which is better/worse for you? soda, or iced tea?

Answers:
"Sugar and acid" and possibly caffeine (if it's Coke) versus "sugar and caffeine". I think iced tea is healthier... unless you're stuck in a no-peeing zone for the next few hours.

as long as your iced tea isn't loaded with sugar, it's a better choice than soda.

I don't know that either is better for you being that there are so many damn different iced teas on the market now. Some have alot of sugar, some have none, some have sodium, some have none. I think they run neck and neck. Soda is high in sugar and other crap too. Although if I was gonna kill my health with one of these, it'd be soda. At least it tastes better : )

depends on the soda but it can eat the enamel off your teeth. Too much tea? caffeine issues. drink more water, better for your skin

Ice Tea is better than soda.

It really depends. In general, I think iced tea is better for you because soda is mostly chemicals. But diet sodas like diet Pepsi or Coke zero are usually sugar and calorie free so those would be okay once in a while...

I used to love Pepsi, but rarely drink it anymore because of the sugar. I don't like the taste of diet sodas. Once in awhile when I crave carbonation I'll drink something like diet ginger ale which is has no calories or caffeine. I too have switched to drinking mostly iced tea. I make my own so I control the amount of sugar put in--but I use Splenda instead of regular sugar. I also use decaffinated teabags. The healthiest drink is of course water.

Well i would think iced tea is much better for you not as high in caffeine and sodium! ? =o)

Ice tea, if not loaded with sugar.

I think iced tea is always a better choice, specially if you drink sugar free iced tea. Another good choice is this new Lipton Green Tea, it comes in a large variety of flavors, and it's got antioxidants...

I would say iced tea would be better for you.

Iced lemon tea for me.

make sure if you drink iced tea outside, it doesn't taste sweet. some outlets tend to put more sugar in the iced tea as compared with others... gotta experiment and stick to those that have more tea taste than sweet taste :)
