How long can you keep tap water in a bottle for drinking?!

Question:

How long can you keep tap water in a bottle for drinking?

Answers:
5 days

Don't know, I keep drinking it all.

You can keep it in a bottle for however long you want to. Water has no shelf life!!

if its yorkshire water some time in fact up to a month

Until it sours.

until it tastes funny....Keep it out of the heat.

i wouldnt keep it longer than a day, think of the bacteria in the air and from your mouth that gets trapped in the bottle, then multiplies? eugh the thought of it!!!

Under normal circumstances, I would say no more than two days, if refrigerated.

If you're hiking in the Sahara Desert, then perhaps a little longer!

As long as it's kept in the fridge I'm sure it will be fine forever! However sometimes when you taste the water it has a plasticy flavour, I wouldn't throw it out then. Also dont refil blue plastic water bottles...its supposed to not be very good for you!

the water wont expire but if it is in a plastic bottle the bottle itself starts to break down

not very long I have a bottle of water next to my bed and every once in a will I will refill it up but if I forget it taste like rust. eeewww!

I don't know put it like this.

If I fill a bottle up one day I wouldn't drink from it the next day. So no more than a day.

Up to 6 months if stored properly...
