How can I make a good iced coffee at home.?!

Question:

How can I make a good iced coffee at home.?

I am looking for a recipe to make at home, I do not have an espresso machine and probably will not buy one. Does anyone have a good recipe that I can make easily at home?

Answers:
Even one of those horrid little $40 machines would be better than nothing, but you don't need a recipe. Just start with a strong cup of coffee, your favorite liqueur, to taste, and your choice of creamer, to the proper consistency. Just adding a bit at a time you can do this without a recipe.

Just make your coffee stronger than usual, to compensate for the dilution from the ice melt. If you don't want it right away, make iced cubes out of coffee, and make the coffee itself in advance and refrigerate. (Again, so it won't taste diluted.) Add milk and sugar to your personal taste! Refreshing!

Buy coffee.
Buy ice.
Make the coffee.
Pour the ice.
There's your stupid drink.

Iced Coffee or an iced latte? I'll give ya tips for both just in case!

Iced Coffee:
brew your coffee double strenght, so use twice the amount of grounds or half the amount of water. turn the burner off & let it cool, then stick it in a carafe or pitcher (whatever u have around) and stick it in the fridge with many many ice cubes (the ice will melt & dilute the coffee, which is why you want to brew it extra strength). When it's crisp & cold, sweeten & cream it to your liking, and VOILA, you have fabulous iced coffee! :o)

Iced Latte:
I looked this up before I had a cheap espresso maker so I could make my own lattes at home. Use your regular amount of grounds (to make 12 cups of coffee) but only use 1 cup of water. when the coffee has brewed you should have 1 cup of liquid, but super super strong. This 1 cup of liquid makes 4 espresso shots. Add 1/4 cup (1 espresso shot) to the amount of cold milk/soy that you want & add the flavoring you want. pour over ice & you have yourself a delicious iced latte! :o)

Hope I could help ya out! I'm a coffee addict, so I've pretty much tried every method there is to make cheap coffee! :o)
