What's a safe way to microwave tea?!

Question:

What's a safe way to microwave tea?

is there a special container you can use to boil water in the microwave? for one serving only?

Answers:
a glass cup or ceramic mug

I fill a mug with water in put it in the microwave for like 1-1 1/2 minutes. Then add teabag.

Just boil the water in the cup and watch for it to boil. Leave a little room in the cup when filling it. Then when it starts to boil, tun off the microwave and remove cup carefully (though it shouldn't be too hot).

I microwave water and tea bag together for abt 1.30 mins and then sugar.easiets way.or u can boil it to a limit.take care not to boil too mch since water will then flow out.

use a coffee cup

I would use a mug that has no metal in it and there's a setting for heating up liquid on your microwave.

any Pyrex 1 or 2 cup
but why not the cup your going to use.
1 minuet
if the 'cup is too hot to handle toss the cup.
it is not M/W safe.

I'm not sure if there is a special container or not, but I would leave it in the microwave for a little bit after it finishes the heating (ie beeps).

A safe way to microwave tea is to put it in the microwave and be sure to take the spoon out, so that you don't melt the spoon or the microwave.

just use the mug that microwifeable....

boil it in a cup thats all i do then add ur tea when its done
