Ia coffee bad for high blood pressure?!

Question:

Ia coffee bad for high blood pressure?

Answers:
It's not going to hurt so much if you don't drink too much.

high blood pressure, a poor lipid profile with elevated LDL ("bad" Alcohol, Coffee, Smoking and High Blood Pressure.)

i dont know what i said but my cousin, who is a doctor, said this

The caffeine in coffee is what elevates your blood pressure. Caffeine is a stimulant, thus it makes your heart pump faster and thus raises your heart rate, and creates a higher blood pressure than you already have ....Drink DE-decaffeinated coffee if you enjoy coffee.

I just heard on the "Today" show the other day that you should make sure your coffee is filtered. If you like expresso get the kind that is made with the pods. It keeps out something regarding high blood pressure but, I don't remember exactly what it was. Maybe go to their website and find out.
