What time is tea time?!

Question:

What time is tea time?

I can't remember off the top of my head right now. Anyone?

Answers:
It depends on whether or not you are referring to the TRADITIONAL afternoon tea (usually around 4pm) or the less formal "high" tea or early evening supper which is usually between 5pm and 6pm.

normally around 3 i think, it tends to be in late afternoon

4 o'clock.
Crumpets anyone?

Depends on a person. But for me its in the morning between 7.00 to 7.30 am and in the evening between 3.00 and 4.00 pm.

i believe, historically, English tea time is 4:00. also worth mentioning, tea is sometimes used synonymously with "lunch".
Also have run across low tea and high tea times , which are 4:00 & 5:00 respectfully.
I believe its alittle differant for each country. It,s normaly a high class thing.

3-5 pm
