hello you just answered one of my Questions and said you are from Show Low I am from Pinetop I don't live there now but I am moving back as soon as my house sells small world to answer your question here is a info from wikipedia

Fructose (or levulose) is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) found in many foods and is one of the three most important blood sugars along with glucose and galactose. Honey, tree fruits, berries, melons, and some root vegetables, such as beets, sweet potatoes, parsnips, and onions, contain fructose, usually in combination with sucrose and glucose. Fructose is also derived from the digestion of sucrose, a disaccharide consisting of glucose and fructose that is broken down by glycoside hydrolase enzymes during digestion. Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring sugar, estimated to be twice as sweet as sucrose.

Fructose is often recommended for, and consumed by, people with diabetes mellitus or hypoglycemia, because it has a very low Glycemic Index (GI) relative to cane sugar (sucrose). However, this benefit is tempered by concern that fructose may have an adverse effect on plasma lipid and uric acid levels, and the resulting higher blood levels of fructose can be damaging to proteins (see below). The low GI is due to the unique and lengthy metabolic pathway of fructose, which involves phosphorylation and a multi-step enzymatic process in the liver. See health effects and glycation for further information.

Fructose is the form of sugar that found in fruits (among other things). It's not really good for you, but there are worse things you could be consuming. LIke with all sugars (sucrose, dextrose, maltose, etc.) it's best to limit your consumption.

Absoultly NOT
but it is manufactured and refined similar to JUST plain sugar
But if your genitically defective bodies and sugal makes you fat
How did you get it into my food options.
It is not sweet to me!

It's not good for you.

It's a form of sugar...it isn't good for you per se. No real redeeming nutritional value.

"a member of a group of carbohydrates known as simple sugars, or monosaccharides. Fructose, along with glucose, occurs in fruits, honey, and syrups; it also occurs in certain vegetables. It is a component, along with glucose, of the disaccharide sucrose, or common table sugar."

fructose is a simple sugar (a basic building block for other sugars)... and usually found in fruits and plants.

Table sugar is called Sucrose which consists of a fructose block and a glucose block.

Is it bad for us?
The key here is moderation, as with all things.

There is a concern that people are consuming too much sugar, such as high fructose corn syrup which is used in most soft drinks, in lieu of eating healty foods but this goes back to consuming things in moderation.

Too much of any kind of sugar is not too healthy. As everything else, consume in moderation.

Yes its allmost all suger
