Whats the difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke?!

Question:

Whats the difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke?

I dont get it!
They both have zero calories & taste the same!
And if one's better than the other...
Why do they still sell both?

Answers:
Changing the sweetener affects the flavor of the soda. Most diet sodas are made by changing the sweetner, then adjusting the formula to get the soda to taste as close as possible to the original version.

Diet Coke was not adjusted to taste like original Coke. That's why some years ago they made "New Coke" by trying to get the sugary Coke to taste like Diet Coke. (this was a failure)

Now they have made Coke Zero, by producing a diet version of Coke that tastes like "Classic Coke".

Tests have shown that many people are turned off by food items that say they are "diet" even if they would prefer a low-calorie alternative. So Coke calles this product Coke Zero, to avoid the word "diet".

actually, they taste very different. Coke zero doesn't taste as "diet" as diet coke

You know,I wish I knew, but I swear one tastes better. Maybe perhaps because people are too stupid to know that Diet Coke has no calories, lol,if you find someone who knows, let me know, lol

Nothing. If one is more expensive, than Coke is just trying to make more money. They are the same, though.

I dont know i was going 2 ask that question but it said that some1 else asked that if you get an good answer plz tell me

Difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke is as follows:

Coke Zero is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium (ace-k) and has zero calories. The only chemical difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke is that Coke Zero has about half the aspartame but has more ace-k.

In addition, Diet Coke (introduced 1982) was aimed at the diet conscious generation and the advertisements have been aimed primarily women. Coke Zero (introduced 2005) was aimed at the male segment of the population who also don't want the extra calories but prefer the taste of regular Coke.

In terms of taste, Diet Coke is slightly smoother and does not have the same bite as Coke Zero. Some believe that the Diet Coke formula (flavors) is slightly different from that of Coke (which is what Coke is based on. Diet Coke formula is probably closer to the New Coke formula introduced in 1985. Just some theories...
