What is the difference between a latte and a cappuccino?!

Question:

What is the difference between a latte and a cappuccino?

Answers:
a latte is more milk than foam.
a cappuccino is more foam. a classic cap is just espresso and foam, but most americans take it with a bit of steamed milk.
a true machiatto is espresso with a 'dollop' of foam.

i hate when i order a cap and they give me all milk and little foam, that's a latte.

Both have coffee, both have steamed milk, both have foam.

But a cappucino specifically is about 50% foam, 50% milk and espresso.

a latte just has a bit of the foam on top.

amoun of milk used and foam

well its quite contimtimpted really.the theary between the two beverages are quite exposed between two different clazers.the theteratical differences are they have different gereally names.i do demoliate the latte because its helertic taste as a better jeshercy.so i would gersety the latte to be more mulaticer than the cappuccino.

a latte has more milk in it than foam.
a capp has more foam so you get more of the coffee flavor

cappuccinos have more froth (foam that is created while steaming milk) and then some steamed milk where as a latte has mostly steamed milk then on the top there is a smaller amount of froth. the milk is steamed so that the coffee doesnt get cold

I have no idea because they are both equally GROSS!

A latte is 2/3 steamed milk & 1/3 espresso, topped with just a dollop of milk foam

a cappuccino is 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 espresso & 1/3 milk foam

basically, a capp will give you a stronger coffee flavor, and if the foam is steamed properly, it will give your drink a creamier, smoother taste. Most people dont know how to properly foam milk, but when its done right its oh so good!

:o)
