Sun Tea is easy. Just use a gallon jug with several regular tea bags or buy the large ones made especially for Iced Tea making.
Or You can boil water, steep the tea and add cold water and ice. There should be directions on the box of tea for more specifics about how many tea bags to use.
um just tea on the rocks? lol
Boil water, put it in a gallon jug with a few lipton iced tea packets. Let it cool, add ice then refridgerate
Put 5 or 6 regular tea bags or 3 of the large tea bags in a gallon glass jar full of fresh water. Put the lid on it with the tea bag strings hanging out the top under the lid.
Let it sit in the sun for several hours.
You can use herbal tea and flavored tea also.
My favorite is a couple tea bags of several different flavors, peach being my favorite.
Gallon sized glass bottle. Walmart and many food stores sell Sun Tea Jars for around $5 US
Early in the morning: fill jar with cold water and 9 tea bags. Close jar or cover top securely. Leave out in direct sunlight all day. Bring in and remove tea bags, add about a cup of sugar (or less according to your personal taste) Put in refrigerator and chill.
I don't even use the sun. I just fill a gallon glass jar with warm water, add 4 small tea bags or 2 large ones. Then leave it on the counter until the tea is the right color. Put it in the fridge until cool and serve over ice.
