Why is root beer never sold in bottled vending machines?!

Question:

Why is root beer never sold in bottled vending machines?

In my memory, the only time I've ever seen root beer for sale in a vending machine, it was in a can.....

Answers:
I work for a soft drink distributor in San Antonio and we are required to put A&W in all our vending machines. I guess it depends on the company distributing their particular flavor.

Probably not a popular flavor for vending sales.

Rootbeer is sold in vending machines here in South dakota. It probably depends on your region and what sells best

we have it in Louisiana. love rootbeer

That is a very good observation.

You just have to find the right one. Believe me, they are sold in bottled vending machines. . .*sip*
