Which is better or healthier for you? Bottled water or water from the tap?!

Question:

Which is better or healthier for you? Bottled water or water from the tap?

Answers:
Tap.. it has flouride in it! However, I HATE the taste of "city" tap water and I ONLY drink bottled water (if I can.. though some tap isn't so bad). And, I'm happy to say that I dont have a single cavity (ever). So I doubt the whole "Bottled water weakens your teeth" bit is true. I'm 23 btw.

I think tap water is cause it has florine in it and bottle water does not .

Bottled! That's all I drink[when it comes to water.].I don't drink the water in my school, only bottled.

Water from the tap is better for your teeth than some bottled waters especially flovoured ones.

It will depend on where you live. Generally, bottled water is just "tap" water. If you are getting water from a well that is unregulated, then you may be ingesting too much of certain chemicals like fluoride, arsenic and a large number of things which are too numerous to list. If you have city water, then it should be just as good as bottled water because such water is heavily regulated.

Tap water, as long as it's safe to drink in your city.
It contains minerals and flouride which are good for you. Fluoride is critical for adult teeth because it promotes enamel remineralization, and The ADA has expressed its concern that if children are using bottled water mostly or exclusively for drinking, they may not be getting enough fluoride to prevent decay

Bottled.

It depends...bottled water is not under any federal regulations and can imply all kinds of things on the label...most municipal water supplies are at least processed to official human consumption levels.
Alot of so-called "spring" water, is actually City "A"'s tap-water that has been bottled and shipped to City "B"!
The whole Fluoride argument is semi moot...toothpaste is flouridated, and if you think about it, so is milk because the cows drink treated water.

Bottled water is purified, so it doesn't have anything harmful in it, and maybe added minerals to enhance the taste. However, tap water has fluoride added, which strengthens the teeth. Also, it may have some bacteria from diseases that may be going around your community. Chances are that there isn't enough bacteria to make you ill, but immune to the disease instead.

So, bottled may taste better, but tap will do you the most good.

water from your tap

bottled water is coming from another tap source..

Shouldn't be any difference. Unless you've got sh*tty tap water.

omg, its soo sad. these people actually think fluoride and chlorine is good for you when it is not. just purify your water with a filter. anything is better than tap water. ANYTHING!!
