How much ground coffee do you put in a 50 cup percolator?!

Question:

How much ground coffee do you put in a 50 cup percolator?

Answers:
depending on what kind of coffee and how strong you like it . you should use about 6-8 ounces of coffee

try a scoop per cup

1 scoop for every 2 cups...so 25 scoops.

Just remember coffee made for perculators as in the larger format one is coarser ground, figure when you make a pot at home you use 4-5 scoops of fine coffee for a pot of 8-10 cups

So 4-5 scoops equals 1/3 of a cup of coffee, so for safety sake use 2 1/2 to 3 cups of coffee, if your buying it in a package, I would venture to say the entire package would not be wrong, a remember it is ground differently, do not use fine ground, or you will be reading the grounds and the spiget could get clogged.
