Why do servers always put lemon in diet coke?
And dont tell me its to "identify" the diet coke. They know which soda is up, they dont do it to root beer or other flavors, and they could just use a straw if they want.

Tell them you dont want it. I have gone to places that put lemon in the water too and I dont like it. I want PLAIN water. NOT lemon water.

Maybe because someone has yet to tell them that lemon in diet coke sucks. To be honest, diet coke sucks by itself let alone adding lemon to it. I guess they think that it would make it more desirable to drink. Next time tell them to put vodka in it instead.
