Why do tea bags come in joint pairs?!


Question:

Why do tea bags come in joint pairs?

apart from pg tips and tetley for the obvious reasons. Why do square tea bags come in join pairs?


Answers:
It makes for easier packing in the box, I suppose.

Don't you just hate it when you tear them, and the tea leaks out?

Because they would be lonely on their own .

The idea is a "flow through" tea bag so more of the tea is exposed to the boiling water.

All tea bags are married.

I think it is only some brands.
We use Twining's Earl Grey, and they are singles.

it's just how the machine is made for making them i used to work for tetley teabags. Let that flavour floodout.........

2 teabags are better then 1. lol
