Is it safe to freeze 2% milk, then unfreeze when ready to use?

It's safe, but the milk doesn't taste the same afterwards. It taste watered down.

yes you can freeze it and it will be ok to drink when thawed th e only thing is I'm not sure how long it will be good for after it has been frozen.

Yea my mom used to do that, there was three boys in the house and we went through 7 gallons of milk a week so she used to stock up, and it tasted just fine.

Yes you can freeze it. When you thaw it out, make sure you shake it up well before you use it. During the freeze/thaw process, the cream will separate.

Yup. You can do it, but it does change the taste slightly. Also, make sure you open the milk, put half of it into another container and then freeze it. Liquid expands when it freezes and you will likely break the container when you freeze it if it is full of milk. Then, you thaw it and have a mess on your hands.
