Answers:
I suggest not pre-setting prices, and serving large cups, most kid's lemonades stands charge like 25 or 50 cents for a small cup. I stoped one time where a girl just had a donnation jar with no preset price, I gave her a dollar and her jar was stuffed with dollars already, she serve it in large cups (like 16 oz) on a hot summer day people are willing to donate more if you give them a big cup of cold liquid.

As for recipies, there is one on the bottle of Real Lemon, the concentrated lemon juice, just use 1 cup Real Lemon, 1 cup sugar, and enough water to make 2 quarts, its good. nothing but lemon juice water and sugar, no artificial junk.

good luck.

Card table/ end table/ some kind of stand....
cooler full of ice
Country Time lemonade mix (make a few pitchers)
paper cups
poster board sign
an old jar for the money
This is what my mom did for us when we were little, I don't have kids of my own, but last summer I helped the neighborhood kids set one up. I added a cute table cloth or you can use an old pretty sheet, and you can put lemon slices in the pitcher, people think you made home made lemonade. Have fun and good luck! (make sure to take pictures, they'll want them when they are older.)

i think it goes 1 cup sugar 1 cup lemon juice and a 2quart of cold water

You might want to add cookies to sell with the Lemonade.

If you are really wanting to make homeade, then that's okay, but I think it would be much easier and cheaper to make Country Time powdered, and it tastes good enough for a kids' lemonade stand. I'd spend the money, if any, on getting some posterboards and have the girls decorate them. Put one at the end of the street, if you don't live on a busy street, with arrows so that cars can turn in. Just make sure that LEMONADE or LEMONADE STAND is the main part of the sign, then they can decorate the rest. It would be so cute, I'd have to stop. That's a good tip about not having a preset price, too, I think he's right- and also don't make the cups too little & keep the lemonade cold in a cooler- it's no fun to stop your car, get out for a drink, and you get a tiny cup of warm lemonade. I know it's not the kids' fault, but still. Maybe the girls have a little stereo? They could play some kids' music while they hang out, not too loud, make it a little party kind of atmosphere... that would be fun. You could make ice cubes with the lemonade, so even after the people drink the lemonade dow, they've got a couple yummy cubes to suck on...

Some great ideas. When I was a kid in the 70's, in addition to the lemonade, we sold inexpensive homemade cookies.
Things like shortbread, cinnamon sugar, peanut butter, jelly drop, just anything that would go with lemonade. Or maybe cupcakes, bar cookies or brownies? It went over very well in our neighborhood.
