What are the effects of drinking tea?!

Question:

What are the effects of drinking tea?

I mean like green; white; black; and rooibos(roy-bus) tea? I'm a tea happy person and I like to try new teas(new to me anyway) all the time, but are there benefits to doing this? If so, what are they?

Answers:
besides the antioxidants and ECGC nutritive substances in the tea which help your body's immune system and helps rid your body of free radicals, I think another great effect of drinking tea is that it calms you, relaxes you, and makes you feel one with the earth. Sorry but that's just how I feel!

Also, it keeps you away from drinking other bad drinks like sodas, high calorie juices, high sugary drinks, and drinks high in fat and cholesterol. Of course, there's nothing wrong with those drinks, but if you drink tea, you're likely not to drink the other bad drinks all the time. just my opinion....enjoy your teas!

well i know people in japan drink alot of green tea and they have very low cancer rates because of it

and thyme tea can help soothe and heal allergy-addled sinuses. A natural antihistamine, thyme also has antiseptic properties to help purge infections.

and tea is considered a flu fighter because its antibiotic, antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial, and it's packed with iron, calcium, selenium, zinc, and C and B-complex vitamins.

also all tea is packed with antioxidents

Teas are good for you in many ways, as doctors say it. I am also a tea drinker but honestly, I don't believe in them that much.

The only thing I believe is that if you drink a couple of cups of unsweetened tea then you dont feel too hungry, thus it helps me maintaina healthy diet and avoid overeating.

PURE SATISFACTION

i read in the magazines, if u drink 1 cup of tea every morning will reduce the possibility of cancer, especially green tea.
