How come no one makes water in a can?!

Question:

How come no one makes water in a can?

Answers:
Because in addition to the already 500 million plastic water bottles that get produced annually in the US, there would be 500 million cans too.

Drink filtered water.

Water isn't carbonated.

deja blue used too... but I haven't seen it in a while. I can't imagine it tastes very good.

Can have a reputation of having a metallic taste. Marketing im sure.

not very attractrign to customers

wow...ive never thought about that! lol good idea!

plastic bottles are safer. Keeps the water freasher.

Water contained in cans (metal) makes the water metal 'tasting' after time. Not healthy.

How come no one makes a can in water???

That's a good question I think they should

Not a good idea.

They did when bottled water was coming out, people didn't buy it. They preferred it in a bottle. Keeps cooler that way anyway.

But really, if no one wants to buy something then no reason to sell it.

dear wondrous fellow,
you have asked the right person its a good thing that i know why they don't according to my calculations the water reacts to the metal so it makes the water taste bad

Budweiser brewing cans water for use by forest fire crews.

probably cause with juice and soda theres flavors and stuff they have to save
a can is an easy way to save it but water would just be a waste of aluminium

Actually they do make water in a can. It is Dasani and it is made by Coca-Cola.

Personally, I don't like drinking water out of a can...give me a bottle anytime!

Because no one wants mystery water. they want to see how crystal clear it is. We all know what Coke looks like... it always looks the same, regardless of the production lot.

dasani (a coke product) does but it may not be in your market area. though i must admit, it isn't as attractive
as a water bottle with a resealable cap.

Because it can taste metallic. Also, bottling companies are obviously at war over who can make the prettiest, most-refreshing looking product... look at the Fiji bottles, with the flowers all over... but inside it's exactly the same, clear liquid.

because it would tate bad but they make water in a juice box called "water to go"

they make carbonated water in a can may be we should get rid of sodas and juices in schools and replaceit wit water, fizzy water, and milk

taste. The can would make the water taste like aluminum.

dasani (coke) makes water in a can

La Croix sparking water

good question!
maybe most people want water from a bottle or glass.
