nah theres a small chance it may be acid rain. But it really depends on the area you live in, NY and LA, don't try it, but if you live in a very rural area, id try it, and hey you save on water. OMGosh i almost forgot, one time i was watching x-files and this guy swallowed a raindrop and mutated into a blood-sucking chupacavra, wich is scarey alien, monster thingy. I know its just a tv show but you never know.

if you're willing to take the risk of acid rain and pesticides and all that messing with your rainwater. personally i don't think it's okay. but then again i think we all drank rainwater at one point or another when we were kids, right?

i think it is danger bcoz nowadays, so many air polution occur. rain contain chemical substances like sulphur. it will be acidic solution, sulphuric acid
If I was to drink it from a collection barrel I would filter it with one of the modern filter pitchers that you can buy almost anywhere.
They make a couple different levels of filters.

actually its good drinking water of rain but nowadays as you might be knowing about increas in pollution so u shouldnt drink water of rain but u can drink water of rain after purifying it by boiling the water
