coffee with steamed milk, some froth from the steamed milk on top and then powdered cinnamon to finish it off

A cappuccino (that's with 2 c's) is a mixture of expresso coffee, hot milk and (unbelievably) milk foam. 3 ingredients with 3 equal parts of each. Milk foam is not an ingredient but rather it's what happens when you steam the milk making bubbles (it gives the milk a sweeter flavour but makes it more smooth). That's why when you go to Starbucks (or what not) you see them blowing hot air into your milk with a cappuccino machine because it needs to make the foam. Unless you have a machine you can't really make it at home unless you get those instant packages but nothing beats one from the cafe.

Cappuccino is a coffee beverage which may be hot or cold. Hot cappuccino is half liquid half foam/froth, the liquid is made up of espresso and steamed milk. Cold cappuccino is just espresso and milk.

A few people, the ones who gave the generalized; 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 cups of espresso, steamed (textured) milk and ("micro") foam, were correct.
The first answer at the top of the page was appearently grabbed off of a web site recipe (by someone who has no clue), for a "Cappuccino Mix" which is NOT cappuccino. It is just an instant mix you put together then stir a couple spoonfuls into hot water to make a cappuccino flavored drink. Com'on people... don't answer these questions if you don't know what you are talking about!
