The rule of thumb is 1 tsp per cup of water, so 4 tsp per pot. If you want it stronger you can experiment with that, maybe 6-8 tsp per pot. The same usually goes for greens and herbals, but with greens its recommended that the water isn't boiling when you pour it over the leaves (usually 180 degrees F).

Just remember that anything you read is not a clearcut rule, feel free to experiment with it until you find what you enjoy.

1 tsp per cup and one for the pot. 5 tsps.6 for stronger tea but so much water will only hold so much tea.

Hi Cry, If you want strong tea i would use 5-6 teaspoons. Enjoy..

Clowmy

5 teaspoons

1 teaspoon per person and 1 for the pot.

you can put from 3-4 teaspoons. and if you would like it strong you can double the quantity. sorry but i don't know any thing about herbal and green tea.
