Very interesting question l@@k?
If mineral water has been reputedly been flowing through mountains for millions of years, why when i buy a bottle is there a sell by date on it???
Answers:
Even the ones in glass bottles have that date on them. So it has nothing to do with the evils of plastics. It is mostly a marketing ploy - "drink by this date or buy a new one from us."
The only rational reason could be that since there can be bacteria in the water then eventually they will multiply to an unacceptable count and be a health problem.
it has to do with a packaging date
good question
Because after a while the chemicals in teh plastic can seep into the water. Thats also why you shouldnt reuse plastic bottles too much.
the process by which the water was treated
I think bec@use when you open @ bottle @nd you don't drink it, it gets @ different t@ste. Th@t h@ppens to me.
Because then you have to buy more water. Just kidding, Microorganisms will probably reach an unhealthy count by then.
Over time, the plastic bottle releases plasticizers into the water. This gives the water an unwanted "plastic" taste and smell.
