Answers:
NO...
the opposite..
GOOD for you...
some waters are naturally fizzy at source...
but even if they are manufactured they are still good.
Confusion arises because of the negative publicity on fizzy sweet drinks and all the chemicals in such
keep drinking your fizzy water it is much MUCH better for you than alcohol...

i luv the stuff!! it's not bad for you because it's just water and gas!! :)

Carbonated drinks are not bad for you - at least not because they are carbonated. That just means there is carbon dioxide in them - we breath in tonnes of that every year and our body produces it too. It isn't harmful to drink.

i doubt it, its just co2

I drink about 5 ltrs of soda water a week, I have never been told it's bad for you. Take no notice of idiot.Maybe alcohol has effected his brain.

It's better than beer!

But the carbonation does make the water more acidic than non-fizzy water and so is slightly worse for your teeth.

I am sorry to say that Fizzy or any such soda drinks are bad for you the reason is its not good for your health.

To taste the truth put a piece of bone (or tooth) in the soda can in few days it will be getting eroded. This is what the drinks do to your teeth.

Fizzy drinks are usually taken cold after meals which disrupts the normal digestion process.

Fizzy drinks are mostly chemicals so its not good for you.

Try using Fizzy drink to clean wash basin and sink it will show how strong they can be, and imagine what they must be doing to your delicate stomach cells.

So my answers is yes, Fizzy drinks are very bad for you.

depends cause when ur not on diet its not if ur on diet it is

I wouldn't think it is bad!

To the person above: He was referring to fizzy WATER, which contains no added chemicals.

Is not bad but is not good for regular drink because of the gas it might be armful to your teet when taken too much of it

Carbonated water is bad for people who have gastric and digestive problems and also for people who have had any kind of gastric bypass surgery.

I also drink loads of carbonated water.
The problem is that in the long term it contribute to hardening of your arteries.

So, my advise is, for the short term (2 - 3 months), the benefits of not drinking alcohol far outways any damage from carbonated water, and for the long term try and reduce your intake, or start investigating other possible alternatives, (possibly alternating one fizzy with one non-fizzy water?)

Best of luck

I believe it is more acid than regular water, so it is not very beneficial for your stomach. (even though the stomach produces large amounts of acid, if you introduce food of liquids that will increase acidity in your stomach, you will start to damage the stomach surface.) Acid foods and drinks increase free radicals in your body, which will make you get older much quicker. Fizzy drinks will damage the enamel in your teeth, they soften the enamel layer, and if eat something or brush your teeth while the enamel if softer you will remove it, and leave your teeth more exposed to dental diseases.
But if you drink once in a while, the damage won't be that bad.

Sure a whole lot healthier than the booze you were drinking earlier.
Only thing I can think of is that the fizz may be bad for your teeth enamel, but other than that... well done for trying!

no! i drink a lot of it and love it.and as thay told you better than beer

More than about 60 oz of day of carbonated beverages is enough to whack-out your electrolyte balance. If you are under that level, you're probably fine.

Also, some fizzy waters contain sugar. Check and see ifyours does. Club Soda has none; Tonic Water has sugar in it. Perrier does not. Just check your label and take that into account, oo.

It's definitely a better choice than all the alcohol, so congrats on making that switch.

no.. and depends on the kind of fizzy watter peirier ROCK ON \m/
